1. Metodologi yang digunakan
• Pendekatan Klasik
• Pendekatan Terstruktur
2. Sasaran yang ingin dicapai
• Pendekatan Sepotong
• Pendekatan Sistem
3. Cara menentukan kebut
uhan dari Sistem
• Pendekatan Bawah-naik
• Pendekatan Atas-turun
4. Cara mengembangkannya
• Pendekatan Sistem-menyeluruh
• Pendekatan Moduler
5. Teknologi yang digunakan
• Pendekatan Lompatan jauh
• Pendekatan Berkembang
Model Siklus Hidup Pengembangan Sistem
1. Waterfall Model
Model Waterfall

tahap-tahap penerapan pendekatan sistem

Inti Langkah Instalasi & Setting Linux Mandrake 8.0

Install Windows selengkapnya sebelum install Linux.
• Setting Network – biasanya minimal sekali dial-up networking (kalau PC anda stand alone). • Setting Video – paling aman memilih monitor: Non-interlaced SVGA, 1024x768 at 60Hz, 800x600 at 72Hz kalau anda tidak yakin tentang monitor anda. • Start  Configuration. • http://localhost:901 (SWAT untuk setting Network Neighbourhood / SAMBA). • https://localhost:10000 (Webmin, amat sangat sakti & mudah). • /etc – kalau anda cukup berani mengedit file konfigurasi text. Setting Sederhana Linux Mandrake 8.0 Tujuan: • Set agar Linux Mandrake dapat bekerja dengan benar. Langkah: • Mandrake Control Center  Network & Internet  Connection  set dialup atau LAN. • Mandrake Control Center  Network & Internet  Connection Sharing  untuk connection sharing, tapi Mandrake akan menset eth0 menjadi 192.168.0.1, menjalankan Network Address Translation (NAT) & DHCP 192.168.0.16 s/d 192.168.0.254. • Mandrake Control Center  Boot Config  Configure (kalau anda ingin mengubah default boot). Start  Networking  Remote Access  Internet Dialer  Setup. Set Account & no. telepon ISP, device, modem. • Untuk dial ke Internet. Start  Networking  Remote Access  Internet Dialer  Connect. Jangan lupa tekan tombol commit changes. Setting TCP/IP & Routing Tujuan: • Set ethernet adapter & routing. Langkah: • https://localhost:10000  hardware  network configuration  network interfaces. Klik eth0 & set IP address, network, broadcast address. Tekan save setelah selesai. • https://localhost:10000  hardware  network configuration  routing and gateways. Untuk konfigurasi sederhana cukup isikan default router. Tekan save setelah selesai. Membuat Domain Sendiri Tujuan: • Membuat domain name sendiri & mengaktifkan DNS server. Langkah: • https://localhost:10000  Server  Bind DNS Server (8)  Create a new master zone. • Pada bagian create a new master zone isikan: domain name, master server (bisa berisi IP address dari master server), e-mail address penanggung jawab. Tekan create. • https://localhost:10000  hardware  network configuration  network interfaces  add a new interface. Isikan eth0:1 (dst untuk virtual interface selanjutnya) & set IP address, network, broadcast address. Tekan save setelah selesai. • https://localhost:10000  Servers  Apache Webserver  Create a new Virtual Server. Sebuah virtual server dapat dibuat. cukup memasukan IP address, port, lokasi document root, nama / hostname web server. Jangan lupa klik create.
